My Career Highlights

Marketing Lead
at Mangrove Joburg

I had the opportunity to intern as the marketing lead (September 2022) for Braamfontein rooted cafe, Mangrove. Although, recently shutdown, Mangrove was the hub of everything creative and youth-centric. It was a community of urban-culture, authentic food and black-empowered innovators.

As the marketing lead, my responsibilities included curating the everyday online activities such as creating content for the cafe's social media platforms, optimizing its google business profile and narrating the Mangrove story to its patrons. I also managed the small marketing team, which included a photographer, graphic designer and social media manager. These are some of the content pieces I created for the cafe.
